On select Sundays I post a six-sentence excerpt from one of my works in progress, as part of #sixsentencesunday.
I'd been posting from my urban fantasy romance ONCE EVERY SPRING, and I'll resume that next week. This time, I just HAD to toot a horn for my husband, who just released his first erotic story in eBook. So this week's SIX is from that short, PRIVATE PARKING:
Maybe it was the lateness of the hour, or maybe it was the oppressive summer heat, but Annette decided to see just where this text thing with Teddy was going. They had been friends for so long, what could some spicy flirting hurt?
Glancing around to be sure she was indeed alone in the garage, she undid the top few buttons of her blouse, adjusted her ample cleavage, and used her camera phone to snap a picture of her chest. She attached the image to a text message.
Still in the parking garage, about to drive home. Maybe this will help your “condition.”
She paused for a brief second before she let herself hit the send button, knowing this was going to cross a line.
