On Sundays, I share work in progress as part of Weekend Warrior’s 8-Sentence Sunday.
I'm currently working on DISARMING COWBOYS, book 7 of my Lone Wolves of Shay Falls series.
Let's take another peek at the moment Jayel and David, her soon to be mate, meet. She has just been captured by David's pack.
David was sniffing at her again, and Jayel started wriggling in his arms. He growled softly and held her so tight she couldn't breathe. She was well aware that the minor bulge in his crotch had become a raging hard on stiff enough to hurt her
tailbone, and the thought of him getting so aroused made her want to
instinctively buck away from him in panic. Then again, such gyrations might make matters worse.
“Sounds like your
brother is pretty possessive,” David whispered, his laugh rumbling through her. “I can be possessive
too.”
So what do you think?
