On select Sundays I'll be sharing a six-sentence excerpt from one of my works in progress, as part of Six Sentence Sunday.

This six is the next snippet from ONCE EVERY SPRING, my "sweet" urban fantasy WiP. Picking up from where we left off last week...

Heat seared her cheeks. “Listen, I didn't have to bring you along for the ride, you know. Any more wisecracks and I’ll wish you right out of dreamland.”

This only steel-reinforced his devilish grin. “Is that how you think I got here? You wished for me?”
