It's My Hallucination-Six Sentence Sunday

On select Sundays I'll be sharing a six-sentence excerpt from one of my works in progress, as part of Six Sentence Sunday.

This six is the next snippet from ONCE EVERY SPRING, my "sweet" urban fantasy WiP. Picking up from where we left off last week...


She stopped and heaved an irritated sigh. “I’m Dana--just Dana.”

“Nice to meet you. Any idea where you're going, just Dana?”

“It's my hallucination, so I figure whichever way I go must be right.”

His tone held more than a little amusement as he replied, “Interesting theory, but you might want to consider that if this is just a delusion, your best thinking landed you the starring role in a rather bizarre psychosis.”
