It's Complicated-Six Sentence Sunday

~~~~~
On select Sundays I'll be sharing a six-sentence excerpt from one of my works in progress, as part of Six Sentence Sunday.
This six is the next snippet from ONCE EVERY SPRING, my "sweet" urban fantasy WiP. Picking up from where we left off last week...
A flash of irritation shot through Dana. “Of course I didn't wish you here.” She stopped when his words sank in. “Wait, is that how it works--we get here by wishing?”
“Not exactly. It's more complicated than that.”
