Be Mine Brownies -Guest Author A.M. Griffin

It's Too Yummy Tuesday!

On select Tuesdays I share delicious recipes either inspired by my books or that are just plain delicious! Today I'm happy to have special guest A.M. Griffin, author of  Dangerously His. She's here to share her recipe for Be Mine Brownies. And yeah, when it comes to brownies, the whole pan can Be Mine! Take it away!
Hi *waves*
I’d thought I’d share some yummy treats to help celebrate the 4th book in my Loving Dangerously series, Dangerously His. Get your printers ready, because you’ll surely want to keep these desserts!
Hi Humans! My name is Saia Blake, and I’ll be featured in Author A.M. Griffin's fourth Loving Dangerously book. I can't wait to meet everyone. In fact, I wish I could come to Earth and meet you in person, but since most of you have been taken off Earth and sold into slavery across the universe that would be impossible, but I digress.

Enjoy!

Be Mine Brownies

Ingredients:

Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
1 (18.4 oz.) package Pillsbury® Family Size Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix
 1/4 cup water
2 large eggs
3 to 4 tablespoons Smucker's® Red Raspberry Preserves
 1 (13.5 oz.) can Pillsbury® Easy Frost™ Vanilla Dream Flavored No-Fuss Frosting
OR 1 (13.5 oz.) can Pillsbury® Easy Frost™ Velvety Cream Cheese Flavored No-Fuss Frosting
Red decorator sugar
Directions:

HEAT oven to 350°F. Coat bottom only of 8-inch springform pan (or 8-inch round cake pan) with no-stick cooking spray.
PREPARE brownie mix according to package directions using the oil, water and eggs. Bake 50 to 55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Run knife around edges of brownie, remove outer sleeve from springform pan. If using round cake pan, invert brownie onto cooling rack, then turn right side up. Cool completely.
PRESS a 4-inch wide heart-shaped cookie cutter gently into center of cooled brownie, just far enough to leave an impression. Remove cookie cutter. Spread preserves inside the heart-shaped outline.
POINT five-star tip straight down to outer edge of heart outline. Press nozzle gently (amount of pressure determines size of star). Release and lift nozzle forming a star. Repeat placing stars very close together to cover entire brownie.

ROTATE brownie one-half turn or until heart is sideways. Point tip at a 45° angle at bottom of heart. Press nozzle gently, making one continuous ribbon to outline half of heart. Repeat with other side. Sprinkle stars with decorator sugar.

Loving Dangerously, Book Four
Justin “JB” Blake has never met a woman he couldn’t bed—or one he wants to keep. That changes the second he lays eyes on Princess Saia Xochis. The beautiful alien makes his body burn and his heart ache. She will be his. All JB has to do is risk life and limb at the hands of her abusive father, her protective brother, and her warmongering intended mate.
The possibilities of death and dismemberment have never stopped him before.
Inside Scoop:  This book has a small taste of female/female fun—as well as scenes of abuse that are decidedly not fun.
A Romantica® sci-fi erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave
