The Power of the Full Moon-Six Sentence Sunday

On select Sundays I post six sentences from my current works in progress.

Today's six is from my erotic MM/werewolf novel, PETER AND THE WOLF. (a Siren bestseller! BUY LINK)

In that moment, everything was the moon, and the moon was everything. He raised his muzzled and inhaled the scent of moonbeams, a smell that was drenched with life and with power. The aroma was ripe and rich, almost citrus-like. It made him want to sink his teeth into fruit off the vine and wash it down with the blood of a hunt.

He reveled in the freedom and strength inherent of turning his animal loose, for a change, and suppressing the human within. And as a breeze bristled the fur on his neck gently, Peter stretched his head back and howled.
