That First Kiss-Snippet Sunday

This week's snippet is from my WIP, DISCIPLINED COWBOYS, Book 6 of the LONE WOLVES OF SHAY FALLS series.

God, Lana had wanted Zane to kiss her back in that kitchen, but he had walked away. Now, Lana stared at his sinfully full lips, no longer able to hear his response because of the loud voice in her head wondering what it would be like.

She had been leaning closer to him without fully realizing it, and unable to resist the experiment, she did something she’d never done before. She kissed a man first.

Their lips met with only a soft, tentative introduction, but the jolt that shot through her blanked out everything else. No more bad dreams, no more killers on the loose. No more loneliness. There was just Zane and his incredible mouth, tasting of wild nights and tender whispers in a lover’s ear.
